Gofar Hilman won’t be a radio personality for Prambors

Gofar Hilman announced that he would not be the newest radio personality for Prambors radio. He announced this through a photo upload on Instagram on Friday (27 May).

"Prambors is my friend and I really appreciate Prambors' offer which gave me a second chance," wrote Gofar in a statement on Instagram.

"Well, because of my love for Prambors too, I decided to step back and not continue collaborating with Prambors," he continued.

The 39-year-old radio personality was supposed to start broadcasting on May 23. However, the broadcast was cancelled because Prambors had not found the right partner for Gofar.

However, Gofar thanked Prambors for the offer. Not long after, Prambors responded by uploading the same photo.

"Prambors respects all decisions @goaway, and #teteptemanan even though we can't collaborate together for now," Prambors wrote on Instagram.

"We are waiting for Gofar's return with creative works in a better situation! Prambors believes that everyone has the right to have a second chance and come back stronger, including our friend Gofar Hilman," the radio station continued.

Earlier, the news that Gofar Hilman was recruited by Prambors radio as a new radio personality stirred up controversy, one of which was due to a sexual harassment case he was involved in.

A big protest also came from a petition titled "Dear Prambors, why Gofar?". The petition, which appeared on change.org on Saturday (May 21), was created by the account Aku Perempuan and garnered thousands of votes.
