Putra Siregar closes down PStore Glow despite winning trademark dispute against MS Glow

PSstore Glow gained a victory in a viral trademark dispute against MS Glow. The defendant is also ordered to pay compensation of Rp37.9 billion. However, despite the win, PStore Glow founder Putra Siregar dropped a surprise. 

Putra decided to close down PStore Glow. He told the decision to his wife Septia Yetri through a letter he wrote from behind bars. Septia uploaded the letter to her personal Instagram account two days ago.

"Assalamualaikum. Wife, today Manji visited Husband and he told me a lot of things. I leave this letter for you to understand. I hope you can meet Ms. Maharani & Ms. Shandy, tell them I said hello and I want to make peace and don't expect even a penny; only peace. I want everything to be okay," Putra wrote in his letter, which was entrusted to former Drive member Anji Manji.

He also wrote about his business decision, "Bismillah, I also decided to just close PSstore Glow Company and distribute the rest of the products to the public for free rather than causing commotion and dispute. The world is temporary, the hereafter is forever," he continued.

Putra also talked about the ongoing legal proceedings. He wants to end everything peacefully so that he can improve his friendship with Shandy Purnamasari, Maharani Kemala and Gilang Juragan 99 as the owners of MS Glow. 

"God willing, it is better for us to end all these disputes and rebuild our good friendship. There is no benefit for us to sue each other, there is no benefit for us to prosecute each other. Let's forget past disputes and peacefully look to the future," he wrote.

Along with her husband's letter, Septia also expressed her hope that she could meet with MS Glow to communicate this and resolve the existing dispute.

"Therefore, with all humility, through this post I hope to be given the opportunity to meet with Ms. Maharani, Ms. Shandi and Mr. Gilang so that all current disputes can be resolved peacefully and with a sense of kinship," Septia wrote.

"I will also try to contact them because it is the best to meet. This post reflects our commitment to transparency, that we have always tried to make peace, and comply with the discussion at the beginning that we are ready to close PStore Glow and we wish MS Glow the best in the future," she explained.

The Instagram account of PSstore Glow has announced that it is officially closed. The account also deleted all previous uploads.
